Itinerary
Arrive Beijing. Pick up from Beijing Capital Airport. Pick up by local driver and transfer to hotel.
Pick up by local guide and transfer to Tiananmen Square, one of the biggest square in the world where many national celebrations are held. Proceed to Forbidden City (UNESCO site), the imperial palace for the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The next stop is the Temple of Heaven (UNESCO site), a magnificent ancient architectural complex and the sacred site where emperors prayed for good harvests and divine favor. Make a stop at Wangfujing Ancient Street, where you will find some hundred years old stores. Return to hotel after the tour.
Pick up by local guide and transfer to Mutianyu section of the Great Wall (UNESCO site) with round trip cable car. Construction of the Great Wall started as early as 7th Century BC as a fortification against foreign invasion. Return to the city and make a photo stop at the Olympic Village, where Bird’s Nest and Water Cube (outside views only) built for the Beijing Olympics are. Proceed to Summer Palace (UNESCO site), the imperial garden for the royal families. Return to hotel after the tour
Pick up by local driver and transfer to the airport to catch flight back
