Khor Virap Monastery is an ancient Armenian monastery located in the Ararat Province, near the border with Turkey. It is renowned for its stunning backdrop of Mount Ararat and is considered one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Armenia. The monastery holds historical significance as the place where Saint Gregory the Illuminator, the patron saint of Armenia, was imprisoned for 13 years before converting King Trdat III to Christianity.
The Areni Wine Factory is situated in the village of Areni, in the Vayots Dzor Province of Armenia. It is known for producing high-quality Armenian wine, with a history dating back thousands of years. Noravank Monastery is a medieval Armenian monastery complex located in a narrow gorge of the Amaghu River, near the town of Yeghegnadzor in the Vayots Dzor Province.
